Covid 19 Update
Doty Island Dental is currently closed to all elective dental treatment. We are still available for dental emergencies, such as pain or infection. Call our office to contact us with all emergencies.
Per guidance from the American Dental Association issued on March 16, 2020, we have been asked to close for all non-emergent treatment. The ADA requested an initial closure of three weeks, which would give us a tentative re-opening on April 6, 2020. We will be calling patients scheduled during this time period to reschedule. We realize this is an inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize. If you have a dental emergency such as pain, infection of loss of a temporary please call the office, we will either be in the office or you will be re-directed to a secondary number. We are still here to help.
Per updated guidance from the Wisconsin Dental Association, elective care is suspended for the duration of Governor Ever's "Safer at Home" directive. We will be rescheduling patients on a rolling basis beginning next week for the week starting April 6, 2020.
Common Questions and Answers:

A: Yes, we are still available for emergent treatment, such as tooth aches, swelling, lost temporaries or other dental emergencies.
Q: I was referred to a dental specialist, will they still see me?
A: The ADA's guidance applies to all dental offices, specialists or general dentists, please contact the specific office to verify your appointment.
Q: How can I contact your office?
A: You can call our office, we will either be in the office, or if it is an emergency, please call the number listed on our answering machine. We will be checking messages, so feel free to leave a message and we will return your call, be advised, it may take over 24 hours, however, do not hesitate to call Dr. Mick at home.
Q: I have an appointment scheduled with your office for after the April 6 date, should I reschedule?
A: No, not at this time. The pace at which our guidance regarding Covid 19 has changed has been dramatic, we do not yet know what the official recommendation will be regarding treatment following the three week postponement. We will update this site and our Facebook page, as soon as updated information becomes available.
